Indications for Use: Diarrhea in infants and children may be divided into two main categories: (1) those caused by irritating stimuli from within the nervous system (2) those resulting from direct mechanical irritation of the intestinal mucosal nerve fiber receptors. In the first category, diarrhea can accompany some other health imbalance, such as an earache. In this case you would take the Earache complex and alternate with the Diarrhea complex. In the second category the diarrhea is initiated in the intestines, often from absorption of toxins from contaminated food putrefaction. This can be avoided by feeding your child only organically-grown food, and when breast-feeding, the mother should eat only organically-grown food. Unchecked, diarrhea can quickly produce dehydration and electrolyte imbalance, especially in infants or in already sickly children. Although both breast-fed and artificially fed infants may develop diarrhea, breast-fed infants tend to have less severe and more easily treated episodes.
